BIMBO (Buy‑In Management Buyout)
A buyout combining a Management Buyout (MBO) and a Management Buy‑In (MBI), where part of the existing management remains involved while new external managers join to enhance continuity and expertise.

Blind Pool
An investment fund in which Limited Partners commit capital without knowing the specific assets that will be acquired, relying on the General Partner’s investment expertise.

Bridge Financing
Short‑term funding provided to cover a company’s cash needs until a major financing event (e.g., equity raise, acquisition, IPO), often structured as high‑yield debt or convertible instruments.

Bridge Loan
A short‑term loan with high interest, secured by company assets or future financing, designed to provide immediate liquidity until permanent funding is secured.

Business Angel
An individual investor who provides capital, expertise, and network support in exchange for equity in a growing company.
